Zodiac Interactive announced an agreement with set-top maker Advanced Digital Broadcast to integrate Zodiac's tru2way-based interactive TV applications framework with ADB's products.
The companies said the combined solution will let cable operators more rapidly deploy tru2way and Enhanced Binary Interchange Format (EBIF) applications. Zodiac's PowerUp tru2way framework provides a set of application programming interfaces (APIs) and libraries to allow ITV applications to work together across multiple devices.
At the Cable Show '09 next week in Washington, ADB and Zodiac plan to demonstrate the PowerUp for tru2way technology integrated with Osmosys software on the ADB-6880 CDMX tru2way-based personal video recorder.
