We came across this statement in an Adweek article about Investigation Discovery's recent upfront take, and thought it was worth a closer look:
"Since the year began, the network formerly known as Discovery Times is beating Lifetime, Oxygen and WE in total-day deliveries of women 25-54."
The women's networks have been very competitive this year, and as a group they have been thriving. On a total day basis HGTV has taken the lead among women 25-54, with ID holding second, ahead of Lifetime, Oxygen and WE, as stated. Bravo, Food Network, Lifetime and TLC have been flip-flopping for third place all year, while OWN, Oxygen and WE are in a fourth tier.
