And the streak continues.  The network is undergoing evaluation for a sale and, much like a pitcher in his option, Travel is putting its best face forward for any potential buyers out there.  For the 10th consecutive month, year on year numbers have gone up.  Adult demos increased 25-40% over last June.  More indicative of the current state, the network has shown steady growth from January to the present.  As long as they don't encounter any real surprises, the year on year growth should keep going through until Fall.

While the growth appears to be spread around evenly, most of it's coming from single hour programs.  Scheduled series make up a fairly modest portion of the entire grid.  Top among them is MAN VS FOOD.  It makes regular appearances in the top 20 telecasts of the month, and was up 30-40% over last month.  And all of this with nothing but repeats.

BIZARRE FOODS w/ ANDREW ZIMMERN featured three weeks of premieres combined with tons of repeats.  The premieres occupied three of the top four spots on the highest rated telecasts list for June.  The repeats weren't too bad either.  Overall, the series finished just behind MAN VS FOOD as the top rated series for the month.

GHOST ADVENTURES returned with premieres on Fridays and the results were excellent.  The paranormal based series completely took over the night, with mini-stacks all month.  Premieres were slotted at 9pm, bookended on either side with repeats.  The new episodes were very solid, as were the 10pm repeats.  The 8pm slot didn't fare as well.

ANTHONY BOURDAIN was on par with the network averages, and was up in target adult demos.  Significantly up for the 25-54 crowd, as much as 20%.

One new series, BITE ME WITH DR. MIKE, debuted this month.  Scheduled in the ANDREW ZIMMERN timeslot, it opened with average numbers for the channel this month.  Most interesting was the heavy male skew, almost 2:1 men vs women.  On a network that goes slightly male, it's going to be a challenge if that trend continues.  With only one airing on the books, let's say it's too early to call.

BRIDGET'S SEXIEST BEACHES appears to have wrapped for the season. Unfortunately, the former Girl Next Door was unable to pull them in.  The last few episodes fell slightly below average.
