New York--Forty Yards of Gold LLC announced today that it has engaged the services of PPV industry pioneer Mark Taffet to lead the worldwide video distribution effort for the historic inaugural “40 Yards of Gold” event live on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 7pmET/4pmPT from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
40 Yards of Gold will feature, for the first time ever, 16 pro football superstars in a single-elimination tournament of 15 races until just one is left standing to be crowned Pro Football’s Fastest Man.
The three-hour sports spectacle will be distributed live on pay per view in high definition at a suggested retail price of $39.95 in the US, Canada and US territories. 40 Yards of Gold will also be available in closed circuit television outlets across the US as well as in international distribution worldwide.
Taffet brings his 25 years of experience as a pioneer and leader in the PPV industry, having distributed 180 events which generated 58 million buys and over $3.6 billion in revenue including many of the biggest PPV events of all-time: Mayweather vs Pacquiao, De La Hoya vs Mayweather, Lewis vs Tyson, Holyfield vs Foreman, De La Hoya vs Pacquiao, Holyfield vs Bowe, Canelo vs Cotto, and others.
40 Yards of Gold features 16 pro football stars in a series of one-on-one matchups of speed in a scintillating bracket-style single-elimination format. Players competing for the Gold include: Marquise Goodwin, Ted Ginn Jr, Alvin Kamara, Robby Anderson, Trae Waynes, Donte Jackson and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to name a few.
