BURBANK, CA (September 8, 2016) – BUZZR is heading north and expanding to the Canadian market exclusively on YES TV, through a deal which was brokered by FremantleMedia International (FMI). In a new agreement with the Canadian network, BUZZR will provide a three-hour weekly programming block that will air Monday through Friday from 1:00 AM – 4:00 AM beginning Monday, September 12th. Content will include some of the best in both color and black and white from the BUZZR vault, for a total of 15 hours of programming per week, which will be branded “BUZZR After Hours”. This new partnership marks a significant achievement for BUZZR, making it the first U.S. digital multicast network to enter the Canadian market.

- Card Sharks with host Jim Perry from 1978 and 1980 Sale of the Century with host Jim Perry from 1985
- Beat the Clock with host Monty Hall from 1979
- Double Dare with host Alex Trebek from 1976-1977
BUZZR launched on June 1, 2015. In just one year, network carriage has grown its coverage to 65% of U.S. DMA households. In addition, the number of markets the network is available in has quadrupled since the launch – with 67 markets now carrying BUZZR, including all Top 10 DMAs. Recent market launches include Denver, Sacramento, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Buffalo and Raleigh. Through BUZZR’s expanding relationship with their broadcast partners, the network is now also available on cable operators such as Time Warner, Comcast/Xfinity, Verizon, Cablevision, Cox and Charter to name a few.
