Purchased by Byron Allen in June of this year, TheGrio is a digital video-centric news community platform devoted to providing African-Americans with compelling stories and perspectives currently underrepresented in existing national news outlets. Clark will operate out of the new headquarters of TheGrio, located within the recently-expanded New York City offices of Entertainment Studios. These new Manhattan offices now also include studio and video production facilities for short-form and long-form video content production. TheGrio generates approximately 3 million unique visitors per month and reaches a highly-engaged social media audience. In his new position, Clark is now responsible for advertising sales, sponsorships, brand integration, and new business development across all digital platforms of TheGrio. Clark reports directly to President of Cable Network Advertising Sales for Entertainment Studios Networks, Cindy Kelly.

Clark joins TheGrio after holding National Sales positions with The Root/Univision, Mediaspike, Washington Post Digital, and Interactive One/Radio One. Clark has managed accounts for numerous national brands including: Prudential, Toyota, Ford, Infiniti, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, BMW, Prudential, AT&T, Marriott, GlaxoSmithKline, HBO, New Balance, Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, and the U.S. Army. Clark got his start in New York as an advertising sales manager for Johnson Publishing/Jet Magazine.
