West Palm Beach, FL – October 11, 2018 – As part of its efforts to offer the very best in Spanish-language entertainment, Cubaplay, the network that delivers top Cuban and Hispanic content including movies, telenovelas, music videos and more, announced today the network premiere of the critically-acclaimed series Traición, a highly-anticipated drama starring Ana Belén and Pedro Alonso.
Starting Oct. 13, every Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. EST, Cubaplay will feature one of the most successful Spanish series of the year, Traición. A compelling drama that follows the story of a respected family after the head of the family and CEO of a renowned law firm calls his family together to announce that he is suffering from a terminal illness, a condition that had led him to put in place a series of changes to the family business. Already shaken by the news of the illness and the flurry of changes the ailing patriarch has set in motion, the family is about to be hit by another bombshell: a secret hidden for many years will be unveiled, and it will impact every member of the family.

Produced by Radio y Televisión Española (RTVE) and Bambú Producciones, Traición is the result of the work of celebrated filmmakers including Ramón Campos, Antonio Hernández and Lino Escalera. The first season of Traición is comprised of nine, hour-long episodes; the final episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Nov. 11.
