Los Angeles -- Eurocinema World, the only 24/7 high definition channel and VOD service dedicated to international cinema, has inked a deal to make hundreds of award-winning foreign language film titles available to Amazon Prime members on its stand-alone video subscription service.
Eurocinema titles will now be available to watch under the banner Eurocinema “Carte Blanche” on Amazon Prime’s add on SVOD subscription service, offering customers access to a robust library of foreign films.
“I’m delighted to launch Eurocinema World on Amazon,” said Sebastien Perioche, president and CEO, Eurocinema. “Eurocinema has been very successful in creating a branded destination on cable and telco systems. We believe we can extend our brand to the Amazon Prime platform, giving subscribers access to unique niche content, easily accessible any time and on their preferred devices.”
Movie enthusiasts can now enjoy Eurocinema on all compatible Amazon Video devices, including televisions, Blu-ray players, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, computers, Android and iOS mobile devices. A free trial subscription period is also planned.
Films available at launch include “Hotell” starring Academy Award-winning actress Alicia Vikander; “Burnout” starring Marion Cotillard; “The Maiden and the Wolves” starring Leaticia Casta; Palm d’Or nominee “An Unforgettable Summer”; best director winner Cannes Film Festival and Golden Globe nominee “Taxi Blues”; and five time Cannes nominee “Uro.”
