Los Angeles --Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR) announced today that Michelle Wolloff has been appointed senior vice president and general manager for its Southern California Westside territory, which encompasses operating areas across Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
Wolloff will oversee the Southern California consumer and commercial operations serving over 1.5 million households and businesses with video, high-speed internet, advanced voice and Frontier Secure digital protection solutions. She will be based in Frontier’s Los Angeles area region headquarters and report to West Region President Melinda White.
"Michelle is an accomplished business and community leader with more than 20 years of sales, marketing and operations experience in telecommunications and consumer industries,” said White. “We welcome her innovative leadership within the organization and across the community as we continue to provide enhanced service to residential and business customers.”
Wolloff is actively involved in the community and has served key leadership roles in implementing national volunteer events with such non-profit organizations as Kaboom, where hundreds of volunteers helped build playgrounds for underserved schools; Operation Gratitude, that created thousands of care packages for American troops serving overseas; and most recently with Give Kids the World, a service group that helps give ailing children a theme park experience developed just for them.
Before joining Frontier Communications, Wolloff held telecommunications executive roles at AT&T and DIRECTV. As vice president of sales for AT&T Entertainment and Internet Services, she oversaw indirect sales through local sales partners and door-to-door. At DIRECTV, Wolloff led expansion of the Costco in-store test pilot labor program, the launch of the AT&T Mobility in-store model and the development of a vertical strategy for DIRECTV’s national indirect channel. Previously, she was an owner at Full Mix Marketing and held a leadership role in consumer promotions for Mattel, where she launched the first on-pack cross promotion with a leading global candy manufacturer. Wolloff graduated from the University of Tennessee and currently resides in Los Angeles.
