HGTV’s ‘Fixer Upper’ Delivers Series High Ratings

New York [For Immediate Release—March 31, 2016] The season finale of HGTV’s Fixer Upper on March 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT averaged a 1.64 live plus same day prime rating among viewers P25-54—the fifth highest-rated telecast in HGTV's history. The series also was the #1 cable program in primetime on Tuesday night among viewers P25-54. The total viewer average was more than 3.8 million during the hour.

The Fixer Upper steamroller also paved the way for new HGTV series Good Bones, starring mother/daughter home renovation and flipping duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak—helping it deliver a .93 among viewers P25-54 and a 1.06 among W25-54. Total viewers averaged more than 2.1 million. 

Fixer Upper's third season averaged a 1.34 live plus same day rating among viewers P25-54—the highest ratings ever for the series. Ratings among viewers P25-54 grew 34% over season two and, during its run, Fixer Upper was the #1 rated cable program for the Tuesday 9P-10P time period among upscale P25-54 and upscale W25-54. It now ranks as one of the highest-rated programs in HGTV's history among P25-54 ratings. More than 25 million total viewers tuned in to watch the series in its third season.
