LOS ANGELES – Jukin Media has hired Nate Hayden, former head of AOL Studios, as its new Senior Vice President, Original Content. In the newly created role, Hayden will lead sales and go-to-market strategies for all of Jukin Media’s original series.
Hayden’s hiring is the latest in a string of recent moves the company has made to support increased marketplace demand for its original content, including beginning construction on a 14,000+ square foot production studio, and hiring senior-level executives to oversee production.
At AOL, Hayden led development, production, and strategy for the company’s Emmy Award winning video efforts, including managing AOL’s NYC and LA studios. Prior to AOL, Hayden was Vice President of Development executive at FremantleMedia North America, and a producer/ director at MTV, Discovery, and NBC.
