GeoComply will showcase the launch of its new OTT-focused business unit GeoGuard at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas
Vancouver, BC – GeoComply, a Vancouver-based global leader in geolocation technology, has announced the launch of its latest division in location fraud detection, GeoGuard. Co-founders Anna Sainsbury, CEO, and David Briggs, Chairman, will present the OTT video delivery and media focused solution at this year’s NAB Show, taking place from April 22-27th at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be the launch pad for the full suite of GeoGuard tools that have been developed to protect rights holders and prevent the loss of value of their licensing rights and content.
Launched in 2011, parent company GeoComply is the regulated iGaming industry’s trusted solution for reliable, accurate and effective geolocation services. The tool is third-party tested and licensed across various jurisdictions, serving global leading brands such as Caesars Interactive, MGM, Virgin, and DraftKings.
Outside of iGaming, location fraud detection software is becoming increasingly more relevant. One in four internet users implement VPNs to spoof their location in order to access geo-defined, restricted content. To address this need, GeoComply has established its new brand, GeoGuard, as a complementary solution designed specifically to protect the entire media industry from piracy.
