Los Angeles, California – February 8, 2016 - Shout! Factory, a multi-platform media company, and ZAG, a multi-media Kids & Family Film Entertainment company, announced a new strategic distribution alliance to bring the new CGI-animated action adventure comedy series, Zag Heroez’ Miraculous™ Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir to the home entertainment marketplace in the U.S. and Canada. The announcement was made today by Shout! Factory’s founders Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos; and CEO of ZAG, Jeremy Zag.
This new multi-year alliance provides Shout! Factory with exclusive U.S. home entertainment distribution rights (DVD and Blu-ray) and select digital rights in Canada to all 26 episodes of MIRACULOUS™. Shout! Factory plans a strategic rollout of this series in 2016 through Shout’s kids & family entertainment imprint, Shout! Factory Kids.

Zag Heroez’ Miraculous™ Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (a co-production between ZAG, Method Animation, Disney Channel EMEA, Toei Animation, SamG Animation, SK Broadband, PGS HK Limited, AB International Distribution) follows the adventures of a charismatic young Marinette (13 years old) who magically transforms into a vivacious superhero (Ladybug) to save the day using newly acquired super-hero powers, mysterious lucky charms and the unique power of “creation.” With a secret identity and a magical pet (Tikki), Marinette/Ladybug must balance a relationship with her crush, Adrien, who unknowingly happens to be her super-hero sidekick (Cat Noir). This original, modern day action fairytale is rich with friends, family, fun, secret identity, secret crushes, transformation, villains, fashion, creativity and more, all within the colorful and dynamic backdrop of Paris. Zag Heroez’ MIRACULOUS™, TALES OF LADYBUG & CAT NOIR currently airs on Nickelodeon (USA), TF1 (France), ABC (Australia), EBS (Korea), and will soon be premiering on Disney Channel (EMEA & Latin America), SUPER!
