DENVER (March 18, 2019) – Take a peek behind the curtain of some of today’s best and most well-known brands with Outdoor Sportsman Group’s newest show: Sportsman Channel’s TECHSPERTS. Hosted by former NBA player Scott Hastings, TECHSPERTS will uncover the technology-driving innovation in outdoor projects.
The next episode – airing on Sportsman Channel on March 24 at 8:30 p.m. ET – will feature Mud Hole Custom Tackle, the largest supplier of custom rod building supplies. During the 30-minute show, a mix of expert analysis and in-the-field action will allow viewers to see – behind the curtain – the benefits of building your own fishing rod. Detailed information on design, features and benefits is complemented with tips, testing and trials during this fast-paced, information-rich show.
The program runs for two weeks on Sportsman Channel during the weeks of March 18 and March 25. Airings are: Thursdays at 11:30 a.m., Saturday at 9:30 p.m., Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. (all times Eastern). Watch a preview here.

This is the third installment of Sportsman Channel’s TECHSPERTS from Outdoor Sportsman Group. The first two shows focused on Springfield Armory and Mission Crossbows.
TECHSPERTS is hosted by Scott Hastings, former NBA player and 1990 World Champion with the Detroit Pistons. His outdoor experience began at a young age squirrel hunting with his Grandpa. Now, with his playing days behind him, Hastings gets to pursue his second passion: the outdoors.
