‘The E! People’s Choice Awards’ Reached 4.1 Million Total Viewers And 1.8 Million Adults 18-49 On Sunday Night Across E!, Bravo, Syfy, Universo And USA Network

E!’s Inaugural Airing Delivered the Youngest-Skewing Audience in Nielsen Recorded History for the Award Show, Which Previously Aired on CBS

Los Angeles, CA – “The E! People’s Choice Awards” airing Sunday, November 11 from 9:00-11:00pm ET/PT reached 4.1 million total viewers and 1.8 million adults 18-49 across the cable networks of NBCUniversal, including E!, Bravo, SYFY, Universo and USA Network. In comparison to other 2018 award shows, the roadblock event reached more total viewers than "iHeart Radio Music Awards" (4.0 million on TBS, TNT and TruTV ), “Kids Choice Awards" (3.7 million on TeenNick, Nick/NAN and Nicktoons), “Critics' Choice Awards" (2.9 million on CW), and "Teen Choice Awards" (2.5 million on Fox).

On E! specifically, the event marked the youngest-skewing "People’s Choice Awards” in Nielsen recorded history with an audience composition 4x more concentrated with adult 18-34 viewers than last year’s telecast on CBS. Leading up to the award show, “E! Live from the Red Carpet: The E! People’s Choice Awards,” which aired exclusively on E! from 7:00-9:00pm ET/PT, reached 1.5 million total viewers and 560k adults 18-49.

The multi-platform event delivered E!’s biggest live digital video audience in the network’s history with 3 million live streams across digital and social platforms. “The E! People’s Choice Awards” also generated a total of 34 million engagements with E!-produced digital and social content (including page/video views, likes, comments and shares).

According to Nielsen Social, the event ranks as the #1 most social telecast across all of cable in the fall 2018 season to date with 5.3 million social interactions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (and #2 across broadcast and cable, excluding sports). ”The E! People’s Choice Awards,” which trended worldwide, ranks as E!’s most social telecast of all time generating 104% more social engagements than last year’s “People’s Choice Awards” on CBS.

Leading up to the event, more than a quarter of a billion votes were cast. Among the categories with the highest number of votes were four brand new categories that underscore E!’s commitment to evolving the award show for the next generation – Concert Tour, Music Video, Bingeworthy Show and Animal Star.
