CHICAGO, September 28, 2016 -- Starting Monday, October 3 and for as long as the Cubs are playing in the MLB postseason, Chicago’s Cubs station WGN-TV will present “Cubs Nightly,” weeknights at 6pm (program will not air in the event there is a Cubs playoff game in progress.) The program will be simulcast on CLTV.
Hosted by WGN-TV’s Dan Roan and with a nightly contribution from Cubs broadcaster Len Kasper, each night’s show will follow all the storylines and action of the Cubs in this highly-anticipated postseason run.
Viewers and fans can expect highlights, previews, reviews, interviews with Cubs players and much more. Fans can also interact with the show by submitting questions or thoughts daily at #cubsnightly on Twitter.
First week highlights of “Cubs Nightly” include one-on-one interviews with Joe Maddon and David Ross, a feature with players from the Chicago Blackhawks talking about the Cubs and LIVE coverage from Wrigley Field before Game 1 of the NLDS.
Chicago’s Very Own WGN-TV has been home of the Cubs since 1948.
