LOS ANGELES  – Health entertainment network Z Living and POPSUGAR, the #1 online destination for millennial women, today announced a strategic partnership through which the companies will create POPSUGAR-branded content to air exclusively on Z Living’s linear cable network and online. The partners will also co-create unique advertising and brand-integration opportunities for both on-air and digital platforms.

Z Living General Manager Rafe Oller and POPSUGAR Studios President David Grant made today’s announcement.

Leveraging its deep data and insights, and extensive production expertise, POPSUGAR will create original POPSUGAR-branded series to air weekly on Z Living in primetime, as well as TV versions of its popular online series franchises to air during the network’s daytime block. POPSUGAR will also harness its massive audience of 44 million monthly unique visitors in the United States (comScore, January 2016) to promote its branded Z Living shows, and will provide the network a first-look for any original health entertainment series.

Said Oller, “Through the combination of Z Living's health-conscious audience and POPSUGAR’s unrivaled ability to understand and reach millennial women, advertisers will have an unprecedented opportunity to reach this most powerful and influential consumer. It is an ideal move for Z Living to align with POPSUGAR as we jointly engage this passionate female demographic that is leading the charge around health and living well.”

Said Grant, “This novel deal with Z Living is the product of two hot trends: first, women are increasingly interested in healthy lifestyles, so health entertainment programming is resonating, and second, TV networks are looking for ways to partner with online publishers - like POPSUGAR - that have a strong brand, a large, engaged millennial audience, and lots of great data.”

In addition to airing POPSUGAR-branded programming on the Z Living linear channel and online, Z Living will distribute the content internationally via its affiliation with media giant Zee Entertainment, which reaches roughly 1 billion viewers in more than 160 countries.

The POPSUGAR-branded programming is slated to premiere on Z Living in second quarter 2016.
