Disney Channel’s ‘Andi Mack’ to Conclude In July

Disney Channel will end its most popular series Andi Mack this summer with final episodes launching June 21, the network said Wednesday.

The series, which follows a young teen and her best friends as they navigate middle school, will launch its final episodes with two shows on June 21, followed by new shows  every Friday through the last episode on July 26, according to Disney. Year to-date, Andi Mack is Disney Channel's most-watched series overall and its highest-rated among Kids 6-14, said the network.

Andi Mack stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Lilan Bowden, Lauren Tom, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie, Asher Angel and Trent Garrett.

"Three years ago, we challenged Terri Minsky to create a new series that expanded and broadened the Disney Channel brand. And so was born 'Andi Mack,' said Disney Channel president Gary Marsh in a statement. “We are forever grateful to Terri, her talented team and the outstanding cast, led by Peyton Elizabeth Lee, for delivering a meaningful and satisfying conclusion to three wonderful seasons of this brilliant series."
