When Starz launched its gritty, urban drama series Power in 2014, it was unclear whether viewers would embrace the exploits of a drug kingpin turned nightclub owner.

Fast forward to today, and Power -- the brainchild of producer Courtney Kemp and rapper/entrepreneur Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson -- has gone on to become Starz's most-viewed series, and the most watched series on premium cable among African-Americans.
