Showtime Debuts First-Look Trailer for 'L Word' Sequel

Showtime Thursday released a first-look trailer for its new original series The L Word: Generation Q, premiering Dec. 8.

The eight-episode sequel to The L Word -- which ran on Showtime from 2004-2009 -- continues to follow the intermingled lives of L Word characters Bette Porter, Alice Pieszecki and Shane McCutcheon, along with new characters, as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in Los Angeles, according to network officials.

The series stars Jennifer Beals, Leisha Hailey, Katherine Moennig, Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, Rosanny Zayas and Sepideh Moafi, said the network.
